FAQS

Our albums are nothing less than a work of art, printed on state-of-the-art equipment and bound together by hand by skilled craftsmen. They are memories that you can touch.

GENERAL & ORDERING PROCESS

Who can order albums from you?

We specialize in working with professional photographers who want to provide their clients with the highest quality product on the market. However, we also welcome private clients who are looking for a single, high-end album to preserve their memories.

Do you only print, or do you also design?

We offer full flexibility to match your workflow:

  1. Online Designer: Use our advanced, free design software directly on our website (no installation required).
  2. Print Only: Send us your print-ready files (closed files) designed in external software.
  3. Design Service: Let our professional graphic designers do the work for you (additional fee applies).
What is the Turnaround Time?

Since every album is handcrafted with strict quality control, the average production time is 14 business days from the moment files are approved for print (excluding shipping time). During peak seasons, times may vary slightly. We believe quality cannot be rushed.

How can I contact customer service?

We believe in personal service just as much as we believe in print quality. You can reach a real human being via phone, WhatsApp, email, and Live Chat on our website during business hours. Our team is available for technical advice, design help, or any question you might have. You are not talking to bots, but to experts.

How can I track my order and shipping status?

In your Personal Area on the website, you can see the exact stage of your album at any given moment: “Received,” “In Production,” “Quality Control,” or “Shipped” (including a tracking number). You will also receive an automatic email update the moment the album is on its way.

I found a mistake in the file after sending it. Can I stop the order?

Our production process is automated and begins shortly after files are received. If you discover an error, please call us immediately. If the album has not yet entered the printing stage, we will happily help you replace the files. If printing has already started, changes cannot be made.

File preparation & tech specs

How should I prepare files for print (Bleed & Safe Zone)?

To ensure a perfect result, please follow these guidelines:

  • Full Bleed: The background or image must extend all the way to the very edge of the file. Do not leave thin white borders, as cutting is a mechanical process and slight shifts can occur. “Full Bleed” ensures that if the blade shifts, we still see the image and not an annoying thin white strip.
  • Safe Zone: Please keep important elements 1/2 inch away from the edge of the page. Do not place text, logos, or subjects’ heads in this area. This zone is intended for the background extension only.
Can I create a border around the image on the page?

You can create a border, but the minimum thickness must be 1/2 inch.

Why? Because thinner borders (e.g., 1/8 inch) are too close to the cut line. Any natural, slight shift during production will cause the border to look asymmetrical to the eye (one side thick, one side thin).

Do you perform Color Correction?

By default, we print files “As is”. However, you can request our “Color Control” service, where our Studio Team will make fine adjustments to brightness and contrast to match our machine profile. Additionally, we provide an ICC profile for download on our website for Soft Proofing on your end (assuming your screen is calibrated).

MATERIALS, PAPER & PRINTING

Which paper types do you use?

We offer a range of premium papers using chemical technology (Silver Halide):

  • Fuji Crystal Archive Luster: The classic photo paper. Vivid colors, high sharpness, and a fine texture.
  • Fuji Silk: A paper with a delicate silk texture (“honeycomb”), loved for its nostalgic and prestigious look.
  • Fuji Deep Matte Velvet: A luxurious, deep matte finish with a soft touch and no reflection (Non-reflective).
  • Fuji Matte (DP2): A classic, smooth, and clean matte paper.
What is the page thickness?

Page thickness varies according to the product type and page count, to maintain proper proportions and easy handling:

  • Main Line Albums (Flush Mount):
    • Up to 34 pages (17 spreads): Extra thick pages – approx. 1/16 inch (0.055″). Gives an impressive presence even to shorter albums.
    • 36 to 80 pages (18-40 spreads): Standard thickness – approx. 1/32 inch (0.035″). The perfect balance between thickness and weight.
    • 80 to 120 pages (40-60 spreads): Thinner pages – approx. 0.015″. Allows for content-rich albums without them becoming too heavy to carry.
  • Simple Book: Always comes with thick pages (approx. 1/16 inch / 0.055″).
  • Soft Book: Always comes with thin, flexible pages (approx. 0.015″).
What is the binding method?

All our albums are produced using the Flush Mount method. This means the album opens to a full 180 degrees (Lay-flat), allowing you to display panoramic photos across a full spread without any “cut” in the center.

Can I order material samples (Swatches)?

Absolutely. You can order a Swatch Kit that includes our variety of cover fabrics (Linen, Leather, Velvet, etc.) and paper samples.

Pro services

Is there a discount on Studio Samples?

Yes! We encourage photographers to keep sample albums in the studio to boost sales. Registered photographers are eligible for a significant discount on sample albums.

Do the albums come with your company logo?

We focus on your brand:

  • Your Logo: Will appear prominently on the album box (engraving or printing) and on the Endpapers. This engraving service is free for registered photographers only.
  • Our Logo: Appears discreetly on the side of the box only. Our logo does not appear inside the album itself. The purpose of our logo is to provide the end client with confidence and a “Lifetime Warranty” address, in case you are unavailable to provide service.

Warranty & Shipping

What is your Warranty and Return Policy?

We provide a Lifetime Warranty on craftsmanship. If a manufacturing defect is found, we will repair or replace the album at no cost.

Since each album is a unique, Custom Made product created with your specific photos, orders cannot be canceled once production has started, and products cannot be returned due to a change of heart.

Can I ship the album directly to my client (Drop Shipping)?

Certainly. You can enter a shipping address different from the billing address. We will send the album directly to your end client, without an invoice inside the box.

How are the albums packaged?

Every album is a work of art. It is wrapped in tissue paper, placed in a rigid protective box, and then packed in a well-padded shipping carton to protect against impact and moisture during transit.
